These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of flipvault.com and any related services (the "Site"), operated by FlipVault LLC ("FlipVault", "we", "us"). By browsing the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the website

You may use the Site to browse, purchase items and manage your orders. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including product availability, without notice.

2. Accounts and account responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including shipping and billing details.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@flipvault.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• We may suspend or close accounts that are used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Products, condition and authenticity

Everything we sell is secondhand or pre-owned unless a listing explicitly states "New with Tags". Each item is inspected and graded by our team, and every notable flaw is described and photographed. Because these are used goods, minor variations in colour, patina, wear and fit are normal and are not defects.

Branded items are authenticated in-house before listing. If an item you receive is found not to be authentic, notify us within 30 days of delivery and we will provide a full refund including shipping in both directions. This is your exclusive remedy for an authenticity issue.

Product images represent the actual item unless a listing states otherwise. Screen calibration can affect how colours appear; we always list a written colour description alongside the photographs.

4. Pricing, availability and errors

• All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax and shipping, which are shown at checkout.
• Most items are one of a kind. Adding an item to your bag does not reserve it; stock is allocated when payment completes.
• If an item is priced or described in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full. We will contact you before doing so.
• We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges receipt; the contract is formed when we dispatch the item. We may decline or cancel an order where we suspect fraud, where an item is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we cannot ship to the address provided.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. FlipVault does not store full card numbers on its systems. By submitting payment details you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, layout, graphics, product photography, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to FlipVault and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape or republish any part of the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission. Third-party brand names and logos appearing in listings are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the item offered for sale; FlipVault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those brands.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Using the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
• Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to harvest listings, images or pricing.
• Attempting to interfere with, probe or bypass the security of the Site.
• Submitting false information, fraudulent payment details, or fraudulent chargebacks.
• Reselling items acquired through the Site as new or misrepresenting their condition.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

10. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and as required by law, the Site and the items sold through it are provided "as is". We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlipVault will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or the purchase of any item. Our total aggregate liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify FlipVault against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues are resolved by email within a day.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time the order was placed.
