How do you grade condition?

We use five grades: New with Tags (unworn, tags attached), Like New (worn once or twice, no visible wear), Excellent (light even wear, no notable flaws), Good (honest wear with minor marks, all photographed), and Fair (visible wear, priced accordingly). Every flaw we find is described in the listing.

Are branded items authenticated?

Yes. Sneakers, designer clothing and collectibles go through a multi-point check covering construction, stitching, labelling, hardware and, where relevant, serial or production codes. If we can't verify an item, we don't list it. If we ever get it wrong, you get a full refund including shipping both ways.

How does sizing work on secondhand items?

Vintage sizing rarely matches modern sizing, so we list flat measurements on every clothing and footwear item. Compare those measurements to a piece you already own rather than relying on the label. If you're between sizes, message us and we'll measure it again for you.

Is each item one of a kind?

Accepted Answer

Almost always. Most listings are a single unit, photographed exactly as it will arrive. When an item shows more than one in stock, it means we sourced a genuinely identical lot.

How long does shipping take?

We pack orders within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping arrives in 5–8 business days and Express in 2–4. Standard is free on orders over $75. We currently ship within the United States only.

Question 6

Can I return something?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you have 14 days from delivery to start a return on most items. They need to come back unworn, unwashed and with any tags still attached. Final sale items, graded collectibles and intimates are excluded.

Question 7

Are items cleaned before shipping?

Accepted Answer

All clothing is laundered or professionally cleaned, sneakers are cleaned and deodorised, and homeware is washed or wiped down. Books and paper collectibles are handled dry so we don't damage them.

Do you buy items from customers?

We do, selectively. Email support@flipvault.com with photos and rough measurements and we'll tell you whether it's a fit and what we can offer.

Question 9

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is scanned by the carrier — usually the same evening it ships.
