Our story
Good things deserve a second life.
FlipVault started in 2019 in a Portland garage with three overflowing bins: denim, sneakers and paperbacks. We were tired of two things — beautifully made items heading to landfill, and secondhand shopping that felt like a gamble. So we built the store we wanted to buy from.
Today we're a small team of thrifters, sneakerheads, book hunters and vintage obsessives. We handle every item ourselves: sourcing, cleaning, measuring, photographing, grading and packing. Nothing is dropshipped and nothing is listed sight unseen.
We source
Estate sales, closet clear-outs, warehouse lots and trusted sellers across the Pacific Northwest. We buy the piece, not the pile.
We inspect
Every item is checked seam by seam, sole by sole, page by page. Flaws are graded honestly and photographed, never hidden.
We authenticate
Branded sneakers, designer clothing and collectibles go through a multi-point verification before they're allowed in the vault.
We ship it right
Cleaned, carefully packed in recycled materials, and out the door within 1–3 business days.
